Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your personal data when you use this website or contact Results Driven. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

Who is responsible for your data

Results Driven (Phil Southern) is the data controller for any personal data you send. You can reach me at phil@resultsdriven.co.uk.

The affordability calculator

The EOT affordability calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter — your share price, profit, base cost and completion date — are never transmitted to me, to a server, or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-up and no email gate.

If you use the “copy a link to these figures” button, your figures are encoded into the link itself so you can bookmark it or send it to your accountant. That link is created in your browser. It is only shared with someone if you choose to share it — so treat it as you would any document containing your financial information.

If you use the “send Phil these numbers” button, your email client opens with the figures filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send.

What I collect when you get in touch

If you email me, I receive whatever you put in that email. That will typically include your name, your email address, and whatever you tell me about your business — which may include turnover, profit and other commercial information.

Email is handled by my email provider, which stores messages on its servers in the course of delivering them to me.

Cookies and tracking

There are none. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tag manager, no embedded third-party content, no fonts loaded from anyone else's server. This site needs no cookie banner because it sets no cookies. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask me for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. Email me and I will deal with it — there is no charge and I will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113.
